Kenneth Henry (K.K.) Kramer, 63, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022, surrounded by his family. K.K. was born to Louis Kramer and Norma May Kramer on April 18, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri.

K.K. graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School one year early to enlist in the U.S. Navy in 1976. His rate was Aviation Boatswain's Mate, and he served on various aircraft carriers based on both the East & West coasts. His journeys carried him to every continent except for Antarctica. He retired as a Master Chief in 2011 with 32 years of proud military service.

Laura Jean Todd (Bergman)

Laura Jean Todd, 56, of Shawnee, KS, passed away March 11, 2015, at Shawnee Gardens. For more than 30 years, Laura battled with Multiple Sclerosis, but it never discouraged her. She was born June 21, 1958, in Shawnee, the sixth of twelve children born to Mark and Virginia Bergman. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Bergman. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Robert) Griffin and James Todd. A Celebration of Life is being held in her honor at the Old Shawnee Town Hall on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 11 am to 1 pm. The family suggests donations go to the Laura Todd Memorial fund in lieu of flowers.

Kevin N. Watkins

Kevin Watkins, 58, of Overland Park, KS, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 12, 2017. His Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 pm, Thurs, Jan. 19th, with visitation to begin at noon at the McGilley & Hoge Memorial Chapel. A reception will follow the service. Kevin was born Feb. 7th, 1958, in Springfield, MO. He was a proud owner of Country Club Contractors, a true dreamer and visionary, spreading peace and love everywhere he went.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly and Daniel; brothers, Jim and Rick; sister, Beth, and a huge following of friends.

Susan Valerie Watkins, 56, passed away on March 31, 2014, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born in Springfield, Missouri, on February 7, 1958, to James F. Watkins, Sr., and Martha M. Watkins. She was a twin with her brother, Kevin.

She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1976. She achieved several certifications as a legal secretary, working for firms in the Kansas City and Los Angeles areas. She enjoyed Kansas City jazz, swimming, arts, and museums. She had a true love of animals and frequently assisted in animal rescue efforts. Susan was creative and authored a book, "Winston".

Quinton Webb was born on July 17, 1958, one of 10 children born to Alfonso and Mary Jane Webb. He grew up in Merriam (community of South Park), Kansas. He was educated in the Shawnee Mission School District and graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. Quinton joined the United States Army shortly after high school. He was given an Honorable discharge to return home to help support his mother when his father fell ill.

Ellen Jane (Farber) Weeks, 64 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on October 11, 2022, surrounded by family after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.

Ellen, the youngest of four, was born June 9, 1958, in New York to Thomas & Doris Farber. Throughout her childhood, her father’s job relocated the family numerous times before settling in Kansas City, where she graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1976. Ellen married Donald “Don” Weeks, and they raised their son, Christopher, in the Kansas City Metro. After Don’s passing, Ellen met the second love of her life, James “Jim” Komosa.
