Laura Jean Todd, 56, of Shawnee, KS, passed away March 11, 2015, at Shawnee Gardens. For more than 30 years, Laura battled with Multiple Sclerosis, but it never discouraged her. She was born June 21, 1958, in Shawnee, the sixth of twelve children born to Mark and Virginia Bergman. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Bergman. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Robert) Griffin and James Todd. A Celebration of Life is being held in her honor at the Old Shawnee Town Hall on Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 11 am to 1 pm. The family suggests donations go to the Laura Todd Memorial fund in lieu of flowers.
