I've lived outside of Kansas longer than I lived there but when I reconnect with friends from high school it's like picking up where we left off. I have only fond memories of those years and can't wait to see all of you in August. I am attaching a picture that is a little older than SMNW days but I think you all will recognize the people!

I have been married to my wonderful husband since October 9, 1982. He is nearly seven years older than I am, and is still working. He is a wonderful and kind man. We have had three children; our oldest, Rayna, is beautiful and is married. They have given us two beautiful granddaughters. Our second daughter, Tarah, is also beautiful with Down Syndrome; she is such a delight. Our son, Aaron, passed away recently on November 15, 2014; he would have been 22 on the 15th of December. He was a wonderful and charismatic young man; some called him a "gentle giant" as he was 6' 9". He is greatly missed, and we rest knowing we will again see him one day!

Well . . . Retired from the marine industry in 2001. Just doing stuff I enjoy doing: working in the shop, welding, driving a tanker, leading a Bible study. Love Jesus! Married to an incredible woman. Blessed to be living in the sticks of Elberton, Georgia.

I enjoyed our 10th, 20th and 30th reunions and worked a little bit with this year's wonderful reunion committee. I hope everyone has a great time at the reunion. I don't think I am going to be able to attend. 2016 has been a tough year for me. I was married in 1986 to a co-worker (in the financial services industry). After 17 years of working together, 29 years of marriage, 2 sons, and an extended illness, my husband passed away in late April. I was his primary caregiver for his last few years. i chose to travel this summer. I was in Europe for 2 1/2 weeks, am currently visiting family in Texas, and was surprised with tickets to the show "Hamilton" in NYC just two days prior to our reunion. My youngest son (24) landed a job in Miami and will have a short-term move home in August just as my schoolyear is beginning. I can't wait to see your pictures!
