SALT LAKE CITY--Our beloved father, son, and brother, Eric Edman Sturgeon, age 35, passed away on March 4, 1994, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Castle Dale, Utah.

Eric was born on August 31, 1958, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, a son of Edman Eugene and Elinor Albertson Sturgeon. He was married to Carolyn Crawford on March 25, 1983, in Salt Lake City. He was currently employed by Utah Fasteners.

He was raised in Iowa and Kansas prior to moving to Utah. He graduated from the College of Business at the University of Utah. He enjoyed working with his hands and being in the outdoors.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kelly, Alaina, and Teress, and their mother, Carolyn, of Salt Lake City. Also survived by his parents of Grand Junction, Colo.; a grandmother, Mary Sturgeon of Council Bluffs, Iowa; a brother, Michael and wife Alison Sturgeon of Layton, Utah; and a sister, Susan and husband Andy Langan of Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 1994, at 11 a.m. at the Meadow LDS Ward, 1900 West 400 North, Rose Park, Utah. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 North Fairfield Road, and at the church in Rose Park on Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Lindquist Memorial Park in Layton.
