Dan A. Wood, 60, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
Dan was born on January 3, 1958, to Frank and Hazel Wood. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1976. By trade, he was a stonemason and was the owner of Stone Masters Masonry Contractor.
Survivors include his mother, Hazel; his girlfriend, Barb Carr; his son, Sam; and daughter, Amanda; 2 brothers, Steve and Phil Wood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Wood, and 1 son, Bill Wood.
A private memorial was held on April 8, 2018, at a location that he loved.

Dennis L. Yates, 51, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009, at his home.
Dennis was born on July 26, 1958. He spent his life in the Kansas and Arkansas areas. He was a long-time employee of the General Motors Corporation. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marie Yates. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Yates, son, Adam J. Yates, daughters, Kelly Yates and Kathy (Christopher) Smith, and 3 grandchildren, Liam Yates, Ashton, and Zohey Smith. He also leaves behind 2 brothers, Robert (Sharon) Yates and their two children, Michael (Julie) Yates and their two children. Services will be held at a later date.

Daniel was born on December 12, 1957, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Dwyane Lee and Carol Ann (Lindelof) Young.
He was a Captain at the Lansing Penitentiary in Lansing, KS.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
