Dan A. Wood, 60, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. 

Dan was born on January 3, 1958, to Frank and Hazel Wood.  He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1976. By trade, he was a stonemason and was the owner of Stone Masters Masonry Contractor. 

Survivors include his mother, Hazel; his girlfriend, Barb Carr; his son, Sam; and daughter, Amanda; 2 brothers, Steve and Phil Wood. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Wood, and 1 son, Bill Wood. 

A private memorial was held on April 8, 2018, at a location that he loved.
