Cindy Kirk Zimmermann, 56, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014. Born July 4, 1958 in Shawnee, Kansas to Richard and Ella Rae Kirk. Cindy lived in Shawnee, Mesa, Chicago, and Scottsdale. Cindy was a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She worked as a sales representative for the medical and dental industry, a business owner of CZ Custom Designs, founder of Writing in Style LLC, a contributing columnist of Pen World Magazine, a published author, world traveler, and self-appointed advocate for the handwritten note. Survivors include her children, Joseph and Kevin Zimmermann of Colorado and Michelle Zimmermann of Tempe, Arizona, her brother Robert Kirk and sister Gail Kirk of Scottsdale, Arizona, and her mother, Ella Rae Tucker of Kansas City, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 11 from 6pm to 9pm at Camelback Golf Club at 7847 North Mockingbird Lane, Scottsdale, Arizona. A memorial service will be held September 13, 2014, 1 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home 10901 Johnson Shawnee, Kansas 66203 Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley .
