Comment: Left Kansas right after Graduation, entered Recruit Training United States Navy, Naval Training Center San Diego, CA. Spent the next 18.5 yrs in Southern California making numerous Deployments before being transferred to Admirals Staff Duty in the Pacific Northwest. After 21 yrs I Retired from the USN and pursued a career in Criminal Justice. First working for the Dept. of Justice Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), then took a lateral transfer to Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO). After multiple Line of Duty injuries, coupled with my Combat Wounds received during Military Active Duty, early Disability Retirement was the best hand dealt... Hoo Yah, it's a Navy Diver thing !!!

Comment: Married to Ron Sandnes since 1998. He was in our class. but dropped out. I have 2 boys/men that call me "Mom" (32 and 27 years old). 2 dogs to babysit/let outside/love. I'm retired. Worked in libraries since 1980. I did financial resarch. Sons are grown and flew the nest. Ron and I are happily married!
