Johnny Lee Jackson, 65, passed away on February 22, 2023, in Lawrence, Kansas.

He was born in Bonham, Texas, to Winford Lee and Sherry Kay Jackson on December 24, 1957.

Johnny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Jayhawks. He also enjoyed playing guitar with his sons.

He is preceded in death by his brother, James Hal Jackson, his father, Winford Lee Jackson, and his mother, Sherry Kay Jackson. Johnny is survived by his brother, Jay; his three sons, Ryne, Nicholas, and Blake; his grandchildren, Sadie, Eli, Mary, Roman, Rylee, and Leo; nephew Kit Jackson; niece Jill Ann Crookston; and a loving extended family.

As per Johnny’s wishes, a formal service will not be held.
