He was born in Bonham, Texas to Winford Lee and Sherry Kay Jackson on December 24, 1957.
Johnny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Chiefs and Jayhawks. He also enjoyed playing guitar with his sons.
He is preceded in death by his brother, James Hal Jackson, his father, Winford Lee Jackson, and mother, Sherry Kay Jackson. Johnny is survived by his brother, Jay; his three sons Ryne, Nicholas, and Blake; his grandchildren Sadie, Eli, Mary, Roman, Rylee, and Leo; nephew Kit Jackson; niece Jill Ann Crookston and a loving extended family.
As per Johnny’s wishes, a formal service will not be held.
