Kristi Zydlo, 44 Shawnee, KS died September 18, 2003. Visitation will be 4-6pm Saturday, September 20 at Charter Funeral Home, Merriam, KS. Memorial service will immediately follow visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made towards a scholarship fund for her son, Logan Hunter Young. Kristi was born October 7, 1958, in Chicago, IL. For the past 13 years, Kristi was a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Kristi is survived by her son Logan, stepson Zachary Poe, Matt Young, father of Logan and Zach, her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Stan Zydlo, Palatine, IL; her mother Dee Danley and stepfather Bob Danley of Belle Vista, AR; sister Sheri Ghilardi, Lenexa, KS, two brothers, Scotty Zydlo, Gardner, KS and Mark and his wife Tammy of Shawnee; three stepbrothers, Josh, Matt and Brad of Palatine, IL; sister Katie of Gage Person, Dane Zydlo and niece Jenna Zydlo. Kristi was a loving and devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Nurse. Her kindness, compassion, and giving nature touched numerous people. She will be greatly missed.
