Kenneth E. West , born in Kansas City, Missouri, raised in Lenexa, Kansas , resided in Denver, Colorado for the past 21 years, and has now, December 22, 2004, at the age of 46, made his final journey to his home in Paradise following a valiant six year struggle with cancer. -Ken was in love with his wife, his children and life itself beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. West ; and is survived by his wife, Melanie; sons, Kody (20) and Kasey (18); daughter, Kenzie (17); mother, Marilyn; brother, Danny; sister, Debbie; nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends. -Every day for Ken was another day to live out his passion for God and love for people of all ages and walks of life. -Visitation Thursday, December 30, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Monarch Society's Drawing Room. Celebration Service, Friday, December 31, at 2 p.m., Greenwood Community Church, 5600 Belleview, Greenwood Village.
