Gidget Spangler, 45, of Shawnee Mission, KS, passed away May 17, 2003, at the home of her aunt, Janet Kline. Services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at 3 p.m. at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Friends may call at the chapel from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Central United Methodist Church. Cremation.
Gidget was a lifelong resident of the Shawnee Mission area. She attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and was employed by Herff-Jones for the past five years. She is survived by her father, Robert, of the home; her sister, Shelley Carter and her husband, Steve of Kansas City, KS; her brothers, Ron Spangler of Shawnee, KS and Bob Spangler and his wife, Teri of Overland Park, KS; as well as five nieces and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dona.
