Ralph P. “Rick” Reichert Jr. 32, Lenexa, died August 21, 1990 at home. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Reichert was a percussionist, playing in area jazz bands, and taught drum lessons privately. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi fraternity. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Shawnee. Survivors include his father, Ralph P. Reichert Sr., San Diego; his mother, Marty F. Reichert, Shawnee; and two sisters, Terise Reichert, Fresno, California, and Suzanne Schmittling, Buffalo, NY. Services will be at 10am Friday at the church; burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30pm today at the Amos Family Chapel, Shawnee, where the rosary will be said at 7:30pm.
