Ronald J. Gainer, age 17 of 5625 Lackman Rd., Shawnee. Gainer was a lifelong area resident. He was a machinery operator for the McAnany Construction Company, 15320 Midland Drive. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Shawnee.

He leaves his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Ronzell Gainer; three brothers, David, Ricky and James Gainer; two sisters, Deanna and Barbara Gainer, all of the home, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kupersmith, 127th and Metcalf, Overland Park.
