Robert B. Calkins, 22, of 10613 W. 55th, Shawnee, died Sunday at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Calkins was an electronics technician for the Oscillatek Corp. and a member of the Shawnee Bible Church. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Calkins, and a brother, Mark Calkins, all of the home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calkins, Shawnee; and his maternal grandfather, Henry H. Reidelbach, Prairie Village. Services will be at 1pm, Wednesday at the Amos Chapel; burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
