Danny Lee Choate, 35, Shawnee, died Oct. 16, 1993, at the home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Highland Park Chapel; burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. Mr. Choate was born in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in Arkansas City, Kan., before returning to this area 21/2 years ago. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education from Southwestern College, Winfield, Kan., in 1988. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Joyce I. Choate, and a daughter, Heather Choate, both of the home; his parents, Johnny and Betty Choate of Overland Park; and a sister, Anita Cordill, Olathe.
